The excitement is building...
Beginning the first week of September, Mimbres Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home (MMH) and the community will see changes begin to take place around the current MMH Emergency Room entrance and parking lot. The highly anticipated New Emergency Department/Operating Suites construction is set to begin!
The first phase will be to establish a construction fence around the construction site of the new ER/OR. Once the fence is up, all visitors to the hospital or nursing home will need to park in the far south part of the Nursing Home parking lot, in the parking lot east of MMH using the entrance off Ash Street, or at the front of the hospital.
The entrance for the current Emergency Room will also transition to the East side of the hospital, entering from the Ash Street parking lot entrance. Signs will be posted to assist with directing patients, visitors and employees throughout construction. Please see the map below for more detail.
MMH is dedicated to providing high quality patient care and will continue to operate the current Emergency Room, operating suites, and entire hospital to full capacity during construction. All construction is exterior to the existing buildings. We appreciate your patience and understanding during the construction and hope you are as excited as we are to see the wonderful new addition to our facility slated to be completed mid summer 2010.
